Project Description
French Country Style Kitchen
Debra and Gerry wanted a modern french country style kitchen. For the old world feel we went with a six-foot wide french curved hood-fan, a blueish country style milk-paint finished island with heavy turned legs, reclaimed wood ceiling beams, an apron-front sink and white painted square inset face framed cabinets.
For the modern feel, Deborah and Gerry chose wide floating shelves on either side of the hood fan, industrial lighting above the island and concealed cabinet hinges.
And of course, their red country style kitchen table, white chairs and rustic chandelier finish it all off nicely.
There is a concealed dishwasher on the right hand side of the apron front sink; it looks like a bank of three drawers, but it’s actually a custom front for the dishwasher.
Next to the kitchen there is a walk-in pantry with floating square inset face framed cabinets and reclaimed wood counter.
